IC engine fuel injection system error compensation method
摘要
The method balances out the systematic error in fuel injection devices, by ensuring the injected fuel quality is controlled by means of an electronic control device by adjusting the injection time. The injection time is adjusted using correction factors for individual cylinders in such a way that the balance quality (running smoothness) of the engine is improved. In the low revs-range of the engine, fuel is injected at a given engine speed (revs) during a discrete injection pulse or alternatively is divided into several equal injection pulses or into a pre- and main-injection pulse. Measurement of individual cylinders is used to detect the engine running out-of-balance and to determine the actual quantity of fuel injected for each cylinder (i). Correction factors (cor (i) ) are calculated from these fuel qualities for specific cylinders and then stored in a non-volatile memory of the control device. The injection times and the injection commencement angle (ang (i) ) are then corrected with the correction factor (cor (i) ) for each cylinder.
