The invention relates to a coffee grinder, for use preferably in the hotel industry, which is positioned at an oblique angle (.alpha.) to the vertical (L) and makes it possible for several coffee grinders for different types of coffee (28, 28') to be used in a minimal space. Feeding the coffee beans into the grinding mill (3) asymmetrically prevents said beans from getting jammed. Feeding in the beans in this manner is advantageous in terms of both kinetics and energy consumption, as it allows for the use of smaller electric motors without impairing grinding. The coffee grinder (1) is also well suited to adjusting the quantity of coffee powder by presetting the grinding time.
