The invention proposes a catalyzer for the oxidation of ammonia, comprising a mixture of oxides of the common formula (AxByO3z)k (MemOn)f, wherein: A is a cation Ca, Sr, Ba, Mg, Be, Ln or a mixture of these; B is a cation Mn, Fe, Ni, Co, Cr, Cu, V or a mixture of these; x = 0-2, y = 1-2, z = 0.8-1.7; MemOn is an oxide of aluminum and/or silicium, zirconium, chrome, aluminosilicates, oxides of rare-earth elements or a mixture of these; m = 1-3, n = 1-2, k and f are a percentage in weight according to the ratio of k/f = 0.01-1. The catalyzer may take the form of granules of varied configuration, including units of a cellular structure. Said catalyzer is thermostable and resistant to thermal shocks. The preparation process for the catalyzer involves no water discharge. |
