<p>A steel sheet for a shadow mask having improved press formability and hole-formability by etching, a shadow mask, a color picture tube incorporating a shadow mask, and a production method of a shadow mask having the characteristics are disclosed. An aluminum killed steel sheet in which N, Mn and Cu contents are controlled to suitable ranges is used, annealing is performed before the press forming by controlling the annealing atmosphere, the dew point of the atmosphere gas and the annealing temperature to suitable ranges, and stretcher strain is prevented in the press forming by controlling the N content in the steel to a suitable range.</p> |
