Present steering systems for use with an endless belted track fail to effectively and efficiently permit adequate variations being demanded for further utilization and diversification of the machine application requiring a more demanding diversity of steering adjustment. The present work machine (6) has a front (8) and a rear (10) and includes a multipiece frame (22) defining a front portion (24) and a rear portion (26) being articulatedly connected about a vertical pivot joint (50). An articulating device (248) is functionally connected between the front portion (24) and the rear portion (26). During a turn of the work machine (6), the articulating device (248) functionally moves the rear portion (26) in a direction equivalent to the direction of movement of the work machine (6).
