Ankle prosthesis

The prosthesis comprises a malleolar implant (20) for fitting to the lower end (P) of the fibula and made with a convex surface which interacts with the outer articular surface of the astragalus. A complete prosthesis also incorporates an astragalian component (10), the lateral surface of which has a double curvature - convex in a fore and aft direction and concave in a vertical direction.
