<p>The invention relates to a high pressure swivel comprising an inner and an outer annular wall (21,22). Each annular wall is connected to a respective distribution member via apertures (14,20) which have an axial dimension which is smaller than the diameter of the hydrocarbon inlet (25) or outlet (26). In this way the pressure area between the seals (31,31') of the inner and outer rotatable walls is reduced. In a preferred embodiment, each distribution member comprises a chamber (23,24) that is defined by the external surface of the inner and outer annular walls, and an enclosing wall. <IMAGE></p> |
