In a vehicular load control apparatus, the number of times of operation of a detecting switch 3 is counted by a counter provided in a control circuit 2. If an ID code from an IC card 7 is correct and the counter value is 0 or 1, the control circuit operates a lock disengaging actuator 4 to disengage each door lock of the vehicle whereas if the counter value is 2 or 3 the control circuit operates a trunk opening actuator 5 or a light 6 respectively.
