In the inlet region of the heating roller, there is a preheater for the cover foil. To enable especially good handling of the cover foil, an additional preheater, embodied as a heating wedge, for the cover foil is disposed in the immediate vicinity of the heating roller. Instead of the preheater, the sealing roller may also be embodied as heatable.
