A sweat band to be used in different types of headgear, comprised of dense terry cloth fabric and adhesive tape. The terry cloth fabric seam is secured with heated glue stick to form a flexible tubular shape. A strip of doublesided adhesive tape is positioned and attached over the seam of the fabric. The article may be fastened to, and unfastened from, a variety of headgear.
