The tripod has legs (6) which meet in a central hub block (12). The buzzer bar beam is a tubular rod (1) attached to a horizontal swivel block (16, 9) by a central securing block (10). The central securing block (10) is a tapped cylinder of aluminium. The swivel block allows the bar (1) to be positioned in the horizontal plane, i.e. in azimuth. An aluminium handle (15, 5) is linked to a zinc coated steel rod (8). The rod passes through the central tripod hub block (12) and is secured inside the swivel bearing (16, 9). This permits the user to tilt the bar (1) with respect to the horizontal plane. O-rings (13 around the bottoms of the legs prevent the legs from rattling together when the folded tripod is carried in a vehicle.
