PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently protect an endoscope even at the time of transportation or the like, to simplify constitution and to perform manufacture at an extremely low cost by joining a case main body and a cover body made of foamed resin and fixing them with a band. SOLUTION: The case body 1 and cover body 2 of this housing case are both formed by the foamed resin, recessed-projected engaged between level difference parts 1a and 2a at the respective outer peripheral edge parts and joined in the state of housing the endoscope inside an endoscope housing part 3 inside the case main body 1 by fitting a positioning projection 6 and a positioning recessed part 7 provided near four corner parts. Also, the band 8 is wound and both ends are fixed by a fixing metal fitting 9 so as to hold them in a joined state. Recessed grooves provided with a slight level difference in a vertical direction are formed on the outer surface of the case main body 1, and the cover body 2 and band insertion parts 11, 12 and 13 are provided respectively on two parts on upper and lower sides on the side of the case main body 1 and the two parts on the lower side on the side of the cover body 2. |
