PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional wheel type continuously variable transmission which is capable of reducing the escaping of lubricating oil between an outer ring and a trannion, and making the quantity of lubricating oil to balls and a bearing stable to improve the durability of the balls and the bearing. SOLUTION: In a frictional wheel type continuously variable transmission in which a power roller 1 for transmitting power between input- and output discs is swingably arranged-installed through an eccentric shaft, and in which the power roller 1 is rotatably supported by a trannion 4, an outer ring 3 for supporting the power roller 1 is formed larger than a thrust bearing, a swelled- out part is formed on the outer periphery of the outer ring 3, and the swelled- out part is so largely formed that the outer ring 3 can cover the thrust bearing even when the power roller 1 is oscillated. |
