PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately execute transferring of an ink layer and to enhance reproducibility of dots. SOLUTION: In this recorder, an intermediate transfer roll 2 to which an ink on an ink ribbon 6 is written and from which the ink is retransferred to a recording paper 11 by virtue of a backup roll 12 is made of an infrared- transparent material and is formed to be a hollow cylindrical shape. An infrared ray emission unit 18 is provided to an inner section of the intermediate transfer roll 2. Infrared rays from the infrared ray emission unit 18 are allowed to pass through the intermediate transfer roll 2 to be emitted on the ink. As a result, the ink is heated and softened to be transferred to the intermediate transfer roll 2. |
