SLUDGE DISCHARGING DEVICE OF FLUIDIZED BED WATER PURIFYING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge strongly stuck sludge by a device wherein a space between a supporting part for fluidizing filter medium and an inlet part of water to be treated into a septic tank is divided into a plurality of parts with openable/closable partitions and when the sludge is discharged, the water to be treated is fed under high pressure into a sludge storing part whose connection with the fluidized bed main body side is shutted. SOLUTION: Water to be treated in a fluidized bed 1 flows into from a pipe 7 for feeding the water to be treated through a pump 14 and a valve 13 for controlling the water to be treated and rises from a partition plate 3 and is brought into contact with a filter medium 2 through a filter medium supporting part 8. The treated water after clarification is drained from a water distribution pipe 17. Sludge 10 is accumulated in a sludge storing part 18. Discharging of the sludge is performed in such a way that the partition plate 3 is closed by operating a partition plate operating part 5 and pulling up a wire 4 for operating the partition plate and a drain valve 12 is opened and the water to be treated is fed from the pump 14 to sweep the sludge 10 away and the sludge is discharged from a sludge discharging pipe 11. When the pipe 7 for feeding the water to be treated is clogged, the valve 13 for controlling the water to be treated is closed and the clogged substance is removed with high pressure air of a compressor from an air control valve 15 to perform complete discharge of the sludge.
