STRAIGHT TUBE FLUORESCENT LAMP SOCKET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly conduct the attaching and detaching of a straight tube fluorescent lamp while preventing the breakage of a socket. SOLUTION: A rotor 9 provided with a guide slot 7 guiding a lamp pin is contained in the opening portion 5 of a housing 1 in a straight tube fluorescent lamp socket A. An annular slit 12 of a larger diameter than that of the opening portion 5 is formed on the front end side of the housing 1 opening portion 5. One pair of approximately semicircular front face plate-like portions 10 is formed on both sides of the guide slot 7 of the rotor 9. The outer diameter of the portion 10 is made to be larger than the opening portion 5 so as to contain its outer periphery end portion 10a in the annular slit 12 in rotation free. The portion 10 of the rotor 9 is made to be flush with the front face 1a of the housing 1.
