PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which prevents the generation of local wear such as heel and toe wear (H & T wear) of a tread to reduce noises caused by the H & T wear. SOLUTION: This tire has a tread having many block patterns partitioned by a plurality of peripheral grooves extending substantially in the peripheral direction of the tire and many transverse grooves crossing the peripheral grooves. The transverse grooves at the shoulder part A are deep in the front side of the rotational direction of the tire and are gradually shallow in the rear side, and the transverse groove at the second part B and the center part C of the tread 2 are shallow in the front side and are gradually deep in the rear side. |
