PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a dielectric antenna used for a mobile communication radio terminal, using mainly a microwave and millimeter frequency band where deterioration in the efficiency of the antenna is suppressed, in the case that a higher operating frequency is in use. SOLUTION: This antenna is provided with a dielectric block 1 formed to be a rectangular box, a ground electrode 2 that is formed on a bottom side of the dielectric block 1, a feeding terminal 3 that is formed to the bottom side of the dielectric block 1, an antenna electrode 5 that is formed in stripe- form to an upper face of the dielectric block 1, and a feeding terminal electrode 4 that connects the feeding terminal 3 and the antenna electrode 5 through the inside of the electric block 1. The dielectric block 1 is mounted on a base 11, and the dielectric block 1 is energized through the feeding terminal 3 via a feeder 12, then the dielectric block 1 is used as a radiation element for suppressing deterioration in the antenna efficiency, when a using frequency increases. |
