PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, speedily and precisely recognize picture data on a screen by a user and to improve display quality. SOLUTION: A data input part 6 reads original picture data at every picture element of original picture data. A picture element adjusting part 7 shapes picture element data based on original picture data and a picture element form from a picture element form storage area 3 and stores the shaping result in a picture element-shaped data storage part 8. An additional data area addition part 9 adds an additional data area to picture element-shaped data based on picture element-shaped data from the storage part 8 and additional data from an additional data storage area 4 and stores it in a display data storage part with additional data 10. An identification data addition part 11 similarly generates picture element-shaped data with addition/identification and stores it in a display data storage part 12. Then, picture element-shaped data with additional data or picture element-shaped data with addition/identification is displayed on a display device 14 through a data display part 13.
