<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swivel joint that aims at the promotion of miniaturization, and simultaneously makes its pressure loss reducible, insofar as possible. SOLUTION: A swivel joint 1 is equipped with a housing 2 and a rotor 4 inserted into the housing free of rotation, and plural pieces of opening holes 6 connecting to plural pieces of ring oil chambers 7 are set up at the side of an outer circumferential surface of the housing 2 in two rows and by two pieces zigzag. Likewise, plural connecting ports 9 connecting plural pieces of passages 8 and the ring oil chambers 7 are installed at the side of an outer circumferential surface of the rotor 4. A guide member 10 guiding a flow of hydraulic fluid to be run into the side of these ring oil chambers 7 from the side of the opening holes 6 each along the outer circumferential surface of the rotor 4 after being branched off is set up in each part of these opening holes 6 in the housing. Therefore, miniaturization in the swivel joint 1 is promoted, and further any pressure loss in these ring oil chambers 7 is thus reducible.</p> |
