PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the integral molding of a sheet rubber having a net at its opening part without clogging the mesh of the net by a method wherein green rubber material is charged under the condition that the net is fixed by rubber cores mounted to the top part of a mold and to the bottom part of a mold. SOLUTION: A bottom mold 4, on which a net 3 is placed, is assembled to a middle mold 5. In this time, the net 3 is fixed by rubber cores 7 provided in the bottom mold 4. Next, the proper amount of green rubber material 9 is placed in the pot part 8 of the middle mold 5 so as to be pressurized with a hot press after being assembled with a hot press after being assembled with a top mold 6. Through the heating and pressurizing with the hot platen of the press, a rubber softens and flows from the pot part 8 through conduits 10 in the molding part of the molds so as to fill the molding part with the rubber. By heating and pressurizing the green rubber for a certain period of time, a sheet rubber 1 having the net at its opening part and the net 3 are molded. According to this manufacturing method, the mesh of the net is held as it is since no rubber flows in the portion, which is fixed by rubber cores, of the net 3. At the same time, the fixation of the net 3 to the sheet rubber 1 is stronger due to the integration of the net and the rubber. |
