PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize belt vibration only in the direction of belt thickness and prevent confused belt vibration from generating by specifying the elastic modulus of the part on the belt back side to be in the same degree as the elastic modulus of the part on the belt inner face side. SOLUTION: This belt main body 1 is provided with an endless cushion rubber layer 2, a ribbed rubber layer 3 provided on the belt inner face side of the rubber layer 2, and an upper rubber layer 4 and a canvas layer 5 provided in order on the belt back side, and ribs 1a, 1a,... are provided on the belt inner face side of the ribbed rubber layer 3, and core wires 6 are buried in the cushion rubber layer 2. Further, a canvas layer 5 is provided on the belt back side of the belt main body 1. The ratio, the elastic modulus E1 of the part S1 on the belt back side from the center plane L in the direction of belt thickness of the core wires 6 in the belt main body 1, to the elastic modulus E2 of the part S2 on the belt inner face side from the center plane L in the direction of belt thickness of the core wires 6, is set in the range: E1/E2=100±20%. Hereby, at vibration of the belt, displacement of belt span at swelling to the inside and the outside in the direction of belt thickness can be made in the same degree.
