摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve oxidation resistance and carry out improvement of useful life without deteriorating strength by using a silicone-modified phenol resin as a binder. SOLUTION: This plate for alumina-carbon-based slide gate having high oxidation resistance is obtained by adding 0.5-10wt.% silicone-modified phenol resin obtained by subjecting an alkenyl group of an alkenyl group-containing epoxidized novolak resin to addition reaction with SiH group of an organopolysiloxane and then subjecting the resultant resin composition to mixing and pulverizing with hexamethylene tetramine to 100 pts.wt. aggregate and passing the resultant mixture through kneading, forming, drying and baking processes in this order.
