PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector socket which prevents side shield piece or top shield piece of a shield case which is formed by folding a metal plate from removing from the surface of a molded block, and has high commodity value. SOLUTION: In the connector socket, a molded block 1 made of an insulating resin has at least one plug insertion openings 3A, 3B, the surface, both sides, and top of the molded block 1 are covered with a surface shield piece 4a, side shield pieces 4b, 4c, and a top shield piece 4d of a shield case 4 formed by folding a metal plate, fixed projections 9A, 9B which can engage with fixed holes 10A, 10B in the side shield pieces 4b, 4c are projected on the sides of the molded black 1, and striker projections 13A, 13B which receive fixed pawls 11 formed by cutting part of the side shield pieces 4b, 4c are projected on the sides of the molded block 1. |
