PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display system where videos which respective display devices display are decided based on data classified according to the types of stores, information on the correspondence of the respective video display devices and the video is easily inputted and the pictures of advertisement or the like are efficiently and appropriately displayed. SOLUTION: POS data files 62a-62c by individual stores are generated based on sales information files 61a-61c stored in the respective POS (sales time information management) terminal equipment. The files are synthesized and a POS data file 51 is generated. Accumulations by merchandise classification are obtained for the respective store types with respect to a sales amount contained in the POS data file 51 and they are stored in a total file 54. The classification of the merchandise whose accumulations of the sales amount are within highest five-orders is specified by the store type. Advertisement for the merchandise belonging to the pertinent merchandise classification is extracted from an advertisement management file 3, they are classified by the store type and then distributed to the respective advertisement video display devices arranged at the respective stores and advertisement is displayed. |
