PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device provided with a blade where the occurrence of defective image forming is prevented by removing toner welded on a surface without using abrasive material. SOLUTION: In the developing device 13, the blade 86 is formed of a material which easily wears for instance silicone rubber material. The blade 86 is worn, so that the toner welded on the blade 86 is removed. A spring 101 as a worn quantity compensating means is provided on the back surface 86f of the slidable contact part 86e of the blade 86. The blade 86 worn is displaced by the spring 101, so that the change of pressing force is suppressed. Thus, the defective image forming is prevented. |
