DRAW-FALSE TWIST TEXTURING OF SYNTHETIC FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draw-false twist texturing process causing no fluffing or yarn breakage even if an undrawn yarn with low single fiber fineness is put to high-speed draw-false twist texturing, resistant to sludge deposition on a high-temperature heater guide and to traveling yarn fluctuation, thus affording stable texturing effect. SOLUTION: An undrawn yarn <=2 denier in single fiber fineness is imparted, in advance, with 0.1-1.0wt.% of a lubricant <=1s in penetrability and <=0.1wt.% in ash content essentially containing (A) 20-50wt.% of a polyoxyalkylene glycol copolymer 5,000-7,000 in average molecular weight with the ethylene oxide/ propylene oxide copolymerization weight ratio of (40:60) to (20:80) and (B) 3-10wt.% of a salt of 8-14C monocarboxylic acid and 6-14C alkyl-bearing amine or a quaternary ammonium salt, and then subjected to draw-false twist texturing using a non-contact heater with the atmospheric temperature of 350-800 deg.C.
