PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery device having the high-reliability protection/safety function at a low cost by proving a thin section at one portion of a vertical face to the expanding/shrinking direction of a bellows expansion/shrinkage section, and providing protrusion having the height reaching the thin section when the bellows expansion/shrinkage section is extended at the position facing the thin section of a member installed with a battery. SOLUTION: In this battery 1 storing a power generating element, the pressure equalizing device 2 of a bellows expansion/shrinkage section is liquid-tightly and airtightly connected to the battery 1, and an electrolyte is stored in the battery 1. A stainless thin film 2a having the thickness of 100μm is provided on the end face of the bellows expansion/shrinkage section. A battery storage box 3 stores six batteries 1 each having the pressure equalizing device 2, and it is communicated wit the outside by a communicating port 3c. The bottom plate 3a of the battery storage box 3 is provided with protrusions 3b having sharp tips at the positions facing the thin films 2a, and each protrusion 3b cuts open the thin film 2a to relieve the internal pressure when the internal pressure abnormally increases. |
