PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase transport capacity by shortening a waiting time and to reduce a cost through simplification of constitution. SOLUTION: Elevators 1a and 1b running in two elevator shafts 20a and 20b are formed such that upper and lower cars 21 and 22 are coupled to each other. The elevators 1a and 1b are coupled together in a bucket-form state by a chain 25 through a hoist 23 and sprockets 24a and 24b. When the elevator 1a is lowered by a distance equivalent to one story, the elevator 1b is raised by a distance equivalent to one story. The elevator 1a is raised by a distance equivalent too one story the elevator 1b is lowered by a distance equivalent to one story. The above is alternately executed. |
