STAINLESS STEEL PANEL FOR CLADDING AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel panel for cladding capable of obtaining the stable bonding strength with various metal panels. SOLUTION: In this stainless steel panel, pits are formed with high density to the surface of the steel panels becoming a clad bonding surface so that the area ratio of a pit non-generated part becomes 60% or less and the average diameter D(μm) of the aperture parts of them satisfy the relation of 0.5<=H<=5 and 2H<=D<=4H. This steel panel can be produced by applying alternating electrolysis of 0.5-10Hz set so that current density at a time of anode electrolysis is 10-10.0kA/m<2> and current density at a time of cathode electrolysis is 0.1-3.0kA/m<2> is 0.1-3.0kA/m<2> to the surface of the steel panel becoming the clad bonding surface in a ferric chloride aq. soln. with Fe<3+> concn. of 1-120g/l and a liquid temp. of 30-50 deg.C.
