PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cure a patient's constriction and restenosis by use of a radioactive conductor by making a reinforcement metal layer from a radioactive material, thereby forcing the wall of a lumen of the main body to approach a radioactive metal material layer. SOLUTION: A balloon member 5 supports a radioactive conductors 6 arranged in a certain pattern. In this case, the pattern is a coil-form. Both ends of the coil-like conductors 6 are connected to connecting lines 8, 9, and communicated with the proximal end of a catheter 1 through the wall of a basic main body 2, and near the proximal end, the connecting lines 8, 9 are put to the outside and the terminals are served as connecting parts 10. A suitable radioactive magnetic field is generated in the periphery of a balloon member 5 by radioactive conductors 6 arranged like a coil. Accordingly, by the effect exerted to a field produced by catheter 1, a radioactive ray is fed to a region of the lumen in a patient's body in which a balloon device 3 is placed, and constriction and restenosis can be decreased by the radioactive ray treatment. |
