PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a limiter amplifier with a wide dynamic range and a good transient response. SOLUTION: A detection diode 6, whose detection current changes with an amplitude of a received signal, is integrated in a gate bias circuit of a transistor(TR) 1 as a current source for generating a feedback voltage to bias a gate by a voltage, which is calculated as a product of the resistance of a breeder resistor 5 and a detected current in a negative voltage direction. The gate is biased in the negative voltage direction to decrease a gate current IG of the TR 1, thereby reducing the undesirable effects called migration regarding reliability. |
