PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary handhold becoming no obstacle in loading or unloading and having good operability by storing a hand hook section having a finger insertion space between it and an escutcheon in the hand hook recess of a handhold main body. SOLUTION: A back door B is provided with a floor section facing surface 2 facing the rear floor surface C2 or the lower edge of the rear opening C1 of an automobile C when the back door B is closed at the boundary between an indoor facing surface 1 and an outdoor facing surface 10, and an opening 3 is provided at the abutting corner section between the floor section facing surface 2 and indoor facing surface 1. A fixed seat face 73 embossed toward the back face is formed on the side of the opening 3, and a handhold main body 6 and an escutcheon 5 are fixed on the back face of the fixed seat face 73. A hand hook section 61 having a finger insertion space 40 between it and the escutcheon 5 is stored in the hand hook recess 4 of the handhold main body 6. |
