PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of missing data resulting from a failed transmission onto a vehicle information communication system where sampled data for driving for a prescribed block are sent within a prescribed communication allocation time. SOLUTION: In the case that the transmission from a vehicle to a base station is failed, vehicle information that should have been transmitted for that time is interleaved by a half (step 9) and a sampling period is doubled up to a succeeding communication allocation time (step 10). Since the amount of the vehicle information sent next is compressed by the same amount as that for usual one transmission amount, the vehicle information that should have been transmitted is able to be sent within a succeeding communication allocation time. The status of the vehicle when the vehicle information is interleaved is not accurately grasped in comparison with the case that the information is not interleaved, but the status of the vehicle is far accurately grasped in comparison with the completely missing information. |
