<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change over spring force of a cushion plate in plural stages. SOLUTION: A ring-like plate-spring cushion plate is arranged between a piston of an automobile automatic transmission and a clutch device 13. The cushion plate shows downslope from an inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side, and can be flexed axially. A plurality of pawl pieces are arranged on a peripheral surface of the cushion plate with proper angular intervals. The long and short pawl pieces are alternatively arranged. In compression of the cushion plate, spring force is obtained first through flexure of the long first pawl pieces 92. Next, the short second pawl pieces 93 are flexible. After flexure of the second pawl pieces 93, switching to the increased spring force is performed.</p> |
