GRIPPING METAL FOR COMPOSITE FIBER OPTIC OVERHEAD GROUND WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grip a composite fiber optic overhead ground wire of different diameters using a one kind of gripping metal by employing an arcuate groove part having a diameter larger than the maximum diameter of composite fiber optic overhead ground wire in a receiving metal and a retaining metal. SOLUTION: The grip metal for composite fiber optic overhead ground wire comprises a metal 11 provided with a groove 10 receiving a composite fiber optic overhead ground wire, a retaining metal 21 having a groove 20 for retaining a composite fiber optic overhead ground wire received in the groove 10, a bolt 30 for tightening the receiving metal 11 and the retaining metal 21, and a nut 31 to be screwed over the fixing nut 30. An arcuate groove part having a diameter larger than the maximum diameter of a plurality of composite fiber optic overhead ground wires of different diameter to be gripped is employed as the grooves 10, 20 in the receiving metal 11 and the retaining metal 21.
