PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sound source device which can delicately vary a timbre according to timbre control information generated by a key touch or other factors. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with band waveform signal generating means (1701 to 170n) which generate band waveform signals of bands corresponding to frequency data with amplitudes corresponding to amplitude data and an adding means 171 which generates a musical sound signal by adding the band waveform signals from the respective band waveform signal generating means. In this case, each band waveform signal generating means is equipped with an arithmetic means 200 to input the amplitude data as a variable and perform arithmetic operation according to a specific arithmetic expression, and also equipped with a waveform generating means 210 to generate the band waveform signal on the basis of the arithmetic result of the arithmetic means 200 and its frequency data. |
