PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive image forming device capable of reducing the registering deviation derived from BOW (curvature deviation), without causing complication of the mechanical structure. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so as to form an image of multiple colors by placing plural image output section 5 to 8 along an intermediate transfer belt 1, and successively superposing the image of different color on the intermediate transfer belt 1 by plural image output sections 5 to 8. In such a case, the device is provided with a register sensor 12 reading the registering deviation reading pattern for several color formed on the intermediate transfer belt 1 by the plural image output sections 5 to 8, the calculating section 16 finding the center position of the pattern curvature deviation for every color in the subscanning direction, based on the reading result by the resister sensor 12, and the controlling section 13 correcting the image output position in the subscanning direction by the plural image output sections 5 to 8 so as to make respective center position of the pattern curvature deviation for each color possible to coincide, based on respective calculating result by this calculating section 16. |
