PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make time adjustment of a clock circuit surely executed. SOLUTION: At every specific time, whether an FM receiver 11 is receiving FM multiplex broadcasting and whether an amplifier 14 is supplying speakers 15L and 15R with audio signal from the FM receiver 11 are checked. As the results of this check, if the FM receiver 11 is not receiving the FM multiplex broadcasting and the amplifier 14 is not supplying the speakers 15L and 15R with audio signal from the FM receiver 11, data indicating the reception frequency of the FM receiver 11 at this moment is preserved. After preserving, the reception frequency of the FM receiver 11 is changed and the FM multiplex broadcasting is selected to receive. From this received FM multiplex broadcasting, information on time is taken out and time counted by the timepiece circuit is corrected. After this correction, the reception frequency of the FM receiver 11 is recovered to the previous frequency with the preserved data. |
