PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely insert a coated optical fiber into an SZ groove. SOLUTION: The coated optical fiber 3 is inserted into an SZ groove 2 while a core 1 with the SZ groove 2 is traveled in this method. An upstream side twisting device 4 and a downstream side twisting device 6 are provided on the upstream side and downstream side of a collecting die 5, and both twisting devices 4, 6 are twisted around the center axis of the core 1 at the prescribed cycle in the same direction or in the opposite directions to each other. |
