<p>The disclosed device for the laser ablation of materials (and variations) relates to the field of laser technology, and is intended for medical instruments used in stomatology, dermatology, otorhinolaryngology, as well as for instruments used with endoscopes. The invention is a tandem device which increases the coefficient of useful action, pulse energy, and radiation power with a wavelength of 3±0.2 νm. The device comprises an excitation laser (1) with a radiation range of 0.93-1.15 νm, which is connected by means of a flexible wavebeam guide (3) to a laser converter (2) with a radiation range of 3±0.2 νm. Disclosed are four variations of the device, each being distinguished from the others by the crystal composition of the active element (6) of the laser converter (2), which are multiple-component fluorides of lithium (Li), sodium (Na), barium (Ba), and holmium (Ho), with additions of praseodymium (Pr), ytterbium (Yb), or yttrium (Y).</p> |
