PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emission topographic scanning system capable of improving the spatial resolution of scanning. SOLUTION: In a system for executing a tomographic scanning, a camera and a table/patient are mutually moved in order to complete a noncircular track. Specifically, the table is pinned to a prescribed position, and set in a prescribed horizontal position and vertical position in regulation. The table is kept in the same horizontal position and vertical position in scanning stage. In order to more approach or more separate the camera to and from the patient/table, the camera is pitch-in or pitch-out. The head of the camera is tilted so that the tilt angle is 0 for all changes of the pitch. According to the pitch-in or pitch-out of the camera, the central axis of the camera is moved along the vertical axis of the table. To compensate the movement of the central axis of the camera, table is extended or contracted. |
