PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation and to reduce the scattering of toner, at the time of supplying the toner to a process cartridge from a toner cartridge. SOLUTION: A toner container 33 as a flexible cylinder with corners is supported by upper and lower frames 30 and 31 and upper and lower side plates 32a and 32b for connecting them, to be constituted as the toner cartridge C. The extension part 33f of the toner container 33 is pressed against the lower frame 31 via the upper side frame 32a by an arm 34, to seal the opening part 33a in the lower part of the toner container 33. The lower side plate 32b is engaged with the lower frame 31 via an elastic member 36. The toner container 33 is installed in a toner housing part 9a and for unsealing, a lever 25 provided in the process cartridge B is abutted on the arm 34 and pulled in the direction of installing the toner cartridge C, so that the sealed state by the arm 34 is released to obtain unsealing and supply the toner by its gravity.
