PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily grasp the generation state of a crystal particle by a method wherein the crystal particle is visualized by a color mapping operation in which a two-dimensional crystal orientation display is expanded to a three- dimensional crystal orientation display. SOLUTION: In an image processor 6, the digital image of an optical microscope image which is detected from a sample 1-4 is binarized and processed, and a binarized image is stored into an image memory 6-1. By a control signal which is sent simultaneously, a stage driving/electron-gun start and stop device 9 performs an X-ray Kossel diffraction measurement, and the X-ray Kossel diffraction image of the sample 1-4 is stored into the image memory 6-1. A CPU 6-2 exclusively used for image processing/ analysis computes all poles on the basis of the diffraction image, and color information indicating a crystal orientation is obtained on the basis of the pole coordinates of an obtained positive pole figure. At this time, every crystal particle in the binarized image is tilted, and a pillar which uses the shape of the crystal particle as a bottom face is formed so as to be converted into a three-dimensional image. Then, a rolling- face normal-line direction is displayed on the surface of every pillar, color information indicating every crystal orientation in a rolling direction is displayed in its side face, and a crystal-orientation color map is prepared so as to be displayed.
|
