PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the telephone set to easily confirm contents of a message in letters in the case that transmission reception of the message is attained and to receive a new message while storing a required message. SOLUTION: In the case of receiving character data by communication protocol control attended with the arrival of an incoming call, a main control section 2 stores received character data in a data storage section 8, reads corresponding character data from the data storage section 8 while a connector of the portable telephone set and a connector of an electronic notebook are connected by a conductor cable and converts the format of the character data in matching with a communication data format (character code and data size or the like) of the electronic notebook of a transfer destination, a communication interface section between terminal equipments converts the data into an electric signal and sends the signal via the conductor cable. |
