PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the wear of a photoreceptor, even in an image carrier with a small diameter by providing a magnet for forming the developer bunker on the image carrier peripheral surface by means of a magnetic binding force on a position in the vicinity of cleaning means, inside the image carrier. SOLUTION: This cleaning device is provided with the magnet 1 disposed so as to orient a N-pole and the S-pole to a cleaner region arranged outside, in the image carrier 10. Therefore, toner being not transited on a transfer material reaches the cleaner region, and is bound by magnetic flux of the magnet 1. By appropriately setting an arranging position of the magnet 1, the toner bunker is formed right near to the position on the upstream side of the cleaning blade 2. A major portion of the toner staying here is discharged by a transporting screw 3 however, the toner positioned on the vicinity of the image carrier 10 surface reaches the cleaning blade 2 by act of the magnetic binding force of the magnet 1 or the like, and the portion of the toner works here as lubricant for preventing the wear of the photoreceptor. |
