PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor having high reliability by easily connecting a metal plate for a terminal to an end face of a capacitor element and preventing its connecting fault. SOLUTION: In the capacitor 9 obtained by laminating a plurality of capacitor elements 1 in the same direction, and connecting metal plates 3a, 3b for a terminal to end faces 2a, 2b to be integrated, slits 5a, 5b and protrusions 6a, 6b disposed between the slits 5a and 5b and separated each at one end are provided, and the plates 3a, 3b in which the protrusions 6a, 6b are urged and connected to the end faces 2a, 2b of the element 1 are provided.
