摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel efficiency of an electric vehicle by securing sufficient changes of actuating regenerative braking. SOLUTION: When a vehicle speed sensor 36 detects that the vehicle speed is slow, an SOC value (state of charging of a battery), a charging target of a battery 26, is changed to a smaller value. When a process is performed that the torque load of regenerative braking is reduced if the SOC value of the battery 26 exceeds a given threshold value, the detection of the slow speed by the vehicle speed sensor 36 changes the threshold value to a larger value. This method makes is possible to increase chances of actuating the regenerative braking and thereby to improve the energy efficiency of an electric vehicle.
