PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device such as a semiconductor device with a light receiving or light emitting function and a lens function for an external light, a composite semiconductor device with functions of receiving or emitting two types of lights and a lens function, a composite semiconductor device with a light receiving function, a light emitting function and a lens function, etc. SOLUTION: In a composite photodiode PD3 which is obtained by combining a photodiode PD1 having a hemispherical lens 2, an n-p junction 4 and a light path 8 and a photodiode PD4 having a p-n junction 77 are concentrically combined with each other, a light with a wavelength of 0.32-1.10μm is subjected to photoelectric conversion by the photodiode PD1 and a light with a wavelength of 0.90-1.65μm is subjected to photoelectric conversion by the photodiode PD4, so that a light with a wavelength of 0.32-1.65μm can be subjected to photoelectric conversion by the composite photodiode PD3. The photoelectric conversion efficiency and sensitivity of the photodiode PD4 can be improved by the light conversion action of the hemispherical lens 2. In the same way, a composite light emitting diode which can emit two types of lights and a composite diode with light receiving/light emitting functions can be realized. |
