PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle characters not handleable on a web browser at the time of displaying a host terminal screen by the web browser on the internet and to reduce the load on a client by centralizedly managing character fonts in a server. SOLUTION: A communication package, a display package and the font of normally used characters are down-loaded from the server 3 to the client 6. A communication demon transmits screen data to the communication package and the communication package delivers display data obtained from the screen data to the display package. In the case that the font of the character specified by the display data is not down-loaded, the display package requests the font of the character to a font demon. The font demon transmits the requested font of the character to the display package. At the time of receiving the requested font of the character, the display package displays the character on a display screen. |
